The EliteNoire® process is quick and easy and designed with our clients in mind. EliteNoire.com members are busy, successful African American professionals with little time to fill out long personal questionnaires or navigate through a sea of advertisements found at similar destinations. Our mission at EliteNoire® is to have you enjoying the company of successful African American professionals from across the country in no time, on a site that reflects who you are both personally and professionally.
Let’s begin!
Step One: Join EliteNoire® by filling out the membership application. All applications are reviewed and verified. Once your application for membership has been approved, you will be notified via email.
Step Two: Activate your EliteNoire® account.
Step Three: Upload your photo. Proceed to your “My Profile” page and click on the “change my photo” link which opens a window where you can upload your new profile picture.
All EliteNoire® members submit professional photos for upload to the site. For those who don’t already have portraits available, we at Elite Noire work with several portrait studios in your area to provide one for you at little or NO cost at all. All photos are approved before being uploaded to the site. Cell phone photos are not allowed.

- You may submit a professional photo you already have. If the photo you have is not in black and white format, the site will automatically convert the photo into a black and white version. The photo must be in digital format and not scanned from a paper photo. Scanned photos often show up blurred and in very poor quality.
- You may visit one of many retail outlets in your area that currently offer digital headshot packages at little or no cost. If you will be taking a new portrait for EliteNoire® we request that you have it done in black and white format to ensure the continuity of the site. Here are just a few

- Sears
- You may contact a photographer of your choice and arrange for a professional photograph. Be sure to inform your photographer that you would like to have your photos taken in black and white and delivered to you in digital format and not in paper form.
- You may upload a digital photo of yourself that has been taken by a source other than those listed. Remember, however, that all photos will be approved before being uploaded to the site. Therefore, if the photo you submit is of poor quality or taste it will be denied.
